1. Hydrate with detoxifying lemon water
Slice up some lemons and put them in a carafe with water in the fridge. Then set a glass of that lemon water on your nightstand. Lemon water is detoxifying and alkalizing. Keep it handy so you can drink a glass of it first thing in the morning. The lemon scent is naturally uplifting and the vitamin c will combat wrinkles and give you glowing skin.
2. Make your bathroom a spa-like oasis
Set plants and bouquets in your bathroom to add to the oxygen and beauty in that room. When your flowers are almost about to wither, place the petals in your bath to soak up their beauty one last time.
3. Bathe with intention
The fact that we have hot, running water at our fingertips is nothing short of a miracle. Take the time to feel grateful for this luxury. Add 5-7 drops of scalp oil to your head and give yourself a scalp massage before you get in the bath. Focus on the feelings and sensations as you wash your face and body, breathe in deeply and really smell the soap and scents around you.
5. Get plenty of rest
Practice calm, deep breathing as you get into bed. Set an intention for the time you'd like to wake up. Put on a guided meditation if you have to and prepare to catch some zzz's....
