Watermelon contains 92% water but it also has salt, calcium and magnesium that will hydrate both hair and skin.
Celery is 95% water as well as high in fiber and rich in minerals including potassium and vitamin k.
Cucumbers are 96% water and add plenty of B6 and Vitamin K to your diet. Go crazy and layer watermelon, cucumbers and a low sodium feta cheese for a refreshing and hydrating snack.
Strawberries are 92% water and loaded with vitamin C. Try a strawberry spinach salad for a refreshing summer addition to your picnic menu.
Iceberg lettuce is 96% water. Try mixing it with butterhead lettuce, romaine, or spinach too to give you a little more fiber and still plenty of hydration too.
Beautifying Watermelon Cucumber Juice Recipe
1 small seedless watermelon chopped including rind
1 large cucumber, chopped
15-20 mint leaves
A handful of spinach
1/2 lime wedge, peel removed
Run all ingredients through a juicer, enjoy!
