BRINGING BEAUTY
BACK TO EARTH

Story and Photography by

AMBRA CROCIANI

I often play with natural shapes. I like to have a closer look at things and when it comes to nature, I can perceive the presence of nonverbal emotions in it. Nature to me is like a soothing balm on skin, it regenerates me from my everyday life.As a child I grew up in the Florentine countryside, soft curved velvet hills have pleased my eyes since the early stage of my life. The beauty of nature gently contaminates my work. Through nature, I try to draw a surreal imaginary inspired by small details of natural elements. I think that nature is just a perfect fit to interpret Steam’s philosophy. To me the mirrored packaging has something special in it, because it has an immediate response to shape and colour. For these pictures, I wanted to play with the transparency of water combined with bold and strong colours, which reflect on the surface of the pack. When looking at a mirrored surface imagination is limitless.

Water runs through and around us, silent and so it shapes the background of life.
